Australian consumer guarantees
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item sold by OddLot Society does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy depending on the issue.
Second-hand, clearance and odd-lot items
Many items we sell may be pre-owned, vintage, clearance, incomplete, mixed-condition or limited-quantity stock. We aim to describe important condition details before sale. A disclosed fault, visible wear, missing part or known limitation will usually form part of the item description.
When to contact us
Contact us as soon as possible if an item is faulty, materially different from its description, unsafe, damaged in transit or not fit for a purpose you told us about before buying. Include your name, proof of purchase, item details, photos if relevant and a short explanation of the issue.
Assessing a return request
We may need to inspect the item, ask for photos or confirm the purchase details before deciding the appropriate remedy. Please do not send an item back until we have confirmed the next step.
Change of mind
We are not required to provide a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind, find the item cheaper elsewhere, decide you no longer want it or bought the wrong item. If a separate change-of-mind offer applies to a specific sale, we will follow the terms provided at the time of sale.
Proof of purchase
We may ask for proof of purchase before processing a remedy. This may include a receipt, invoice, order confirmation, payment record or other document that identifies the sale.
Shipping and handover
Shipping, delivery, collection and return arrangements are confirmed at the time of sale or when a return request is assessed. If an item arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us promptly with photos so the issue can be reviewed.
How to request help
Use the contact form and select Product Enquiry or Other. We will review the details and respond with the next step.
